Rim Cylinder Lock

Commonly used on apartment and condominium doors, rim cylinders are used on vertical deadbolt locks and are also designed for commercial exit and panic devices. Available with either horizontal/vertical break-off or lazy-motion type break-off tailpieces, rim cylinders can be ordered with the standard or the Sargent rim exit device mounting patterns. The standard rim cylinder can be easily converted to a mortise cylinder by simply replacing the rim tailpiece assembly with the appropriate cam.

Mortise Lock

A mortise lock (mortice lock in British English) is a lock that requires a pocket—the mortise—to be cut into the door or piece of furnitureinto which the lock is to be fitted. In most parts of the world, mortise locks are found on older buildings constructed before the advent of bored cylindrical locks, but they have recently become more common in commercial and upmarket residential construction in the United States. They are widely used in domestic properties of all ages in Europe.

Cam Locks

Cam Locks

A cam lock can help improve security at your workplace. Shop an extensive metal cam lock selection to find the particular style that suits your locking needs, such as a disc lock or tubular lock to secure drawers, doors and windows, or a pin tumbler lock for mailboxes.

Padlocks

Padlocks belong in the free-standing lock group. They are portable, meaning unlike other lock types, they are not permanently attached to a door or anything that uses it. Padlocks come in a variety of models that are grouped into two main categories: keyed and combination. Keyed padlocks alone are available in different sub-types, like keyed alike, keyed different and keyable. Padlocks are easy to recognize, not merely due to their mobile nature, but also because of their looped-handle shackle shape. They contain a shouldered shackle, a part in which the padlock shoulders raise the sides of the shackle to inhibit bolt cutters from cutting through it.
